Tamborine Mountain, situated approximately 600 metres above sea level, is a plateau eight kilometres long and five kilometres wide. On its eastern side, one can experience the panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and the Gold Coast skyline. The view to Beaudesert Valley on the western side is a sight to behold, especially when the sun is setting. The mountain terrain allows such delights as avocados, kiwi fruit and rhubarb to be grown in abundance.
