Highly Strung is an experienced, professional and sophisticated Melbourne based string quartet that plays for wedding ceremonies, receptions & drinks or anything that requires a little bit of music to make an event extra special. The wedding music we provide is catered to suit all tastes.

We charge an extremely competitive rate (prices given on enquiry) and although we are based in Melbourne, we will happily travel to all surrounding areas for a small transport and petrol fee.

We have a huge amount of repertoire and not only perform classic string quartet repertoire but many popular, jazz and modern covers. We also offer string quartet with double bass for larger events, corporate functions or if you want the additional richness in sound a double bass provides.
