For as long as I can remember I wanted to be a marriage celebrant. I really enjoy working with couples to achieve a common goal and would love the opportunity to create a unique and memorable ceremony for you.



I have collected a wide range of readings, poems and vows. Some couples source their own while still others write their own. With plenty to choose from we work together to create your special ceremony.



There is one thing that works particularly well for me. I ask my brides and grooms how they met and how he proposed. There are some wonderful stories out there that invariably reflect a part of the personality of the bride, her groom or both.



With my Toastmasters training I mould it into an entertaining little anecdote which I use in the introduction to the ceremony. This does two things. Firstly it makes the ceremony truly unique to that couple. It also lightens it up a little at the beginning of the ceremony when a lot of people are feeling a bit tense. I always get a few smiles and often a titter of laughter as the guests recognize the behavior as typical of their friend or relative.



Of course developing the ceremony is only half the fun. On the day, I want the bride and groom to be moved by the ceremony and I want their friends and family to witness a beautiful ceremony.
